Sacramento Culinary Training

 Workforce Development Program

This program helps students develop entry-level kitchen skills so that they may successfully work in the food industry. Sacramento, known as the Farm to Table capital, is home to hundreds of establishments in the metro area, from pop-up catering to high end restaurants. Sacramento has it all!

Alameda CNA 6-week

 Workforce Development Program

Made possible by Quest Nursing Education Center

This program helps individuals gain the skills they need to pass the Certified Nurse’s Assistant Exam. 

After completing the exam, students can be hired in local healthcare settings. The program also equips students with job readiness skills, interviewing techniques and resume writing. 

Many of the students come from situations of housing insecurity and/or addiction

Lodi Culinary Training 

Members of the Culinary Arts Program are provided 16 weeks of intensive training includes a National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification upon passing the ServSafe Exam.

The 25 hours-per-week program offers a wider range of academic activities, directed hands-on training in a state of the art kitchen,

community field trips to a variety of food service operations, and one-on-one mentoring provided by industry professionals.

Napa Culinary Training Program

 

The Napa Valley Culinary Training Academy is the only jobs-training program in Napa County specifically

designed to provide employable skills to adults engaged in recovery from addiction, trauma or

homelessness—to lessen the likelihood of returning to a harmful lifestyle that is dependent on social services.

The Academy offers a path for those who have successfully overcome difficult challenges

and are prepared to work toward employment and self-sufficiency.
