One Family's Gratitude

The Fajardo family is one of thousands of families in the Santa Rosa area that were helped by The Salvation Army during the devastating fires. They lost their home - but not their loving spirit. We are blessed to have been able to help them with food, household items and spiritual care. Here we share a note and photos we received from the family.

Note of Thanks

"As Coffey Park Fire survivors, we would like to thank you for your unconditional love, kindness, compassion and support.

We are very grateful for your help in our long journey to recovery; one step at a time we are getting back on our feet and turning our lives back to normal.

'I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was alone and away from home, and you invited me into your house. I was without clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.' Mathew 25:35, 36, 37

The Fajardo Family"

The Fajardos before the fire.

And after the fire, still a loving family.
