Bells & Elves: Change for Change

Dec 1, 2017 | by SNW

Each year local restaurants and businesses in Sacramento come together for an event called “Bells & Elves”.  It is a way to help make Christmas brighter for those in need by raising funds for local Salvation Army programs.

Every business participating in Bells & Elves is given a kettle to host during the week of Thanksgiving, and are encouraged get as creative as possible to see who can collect the most change.

After Bells & Elves wraps up, participants and community members are invited to a special social hosted by Mulvaney’s B&L for fellowship and to announce the event’s fundraising total. Mulvaney’s not only hosts the Bells & Elves social, but graciously provides delicious food and warm beverages to guests.

This year 19 businesses and restaurants raised over $2,000 for The Salvation Army during this year’s Bells & Elves.

Thank you to all the participating businesses for “Doing the Most Good” in their community this holiday season, and a special thank you to Bobbin and Patrick Mulvaney for hosting this event and for all their support!
