Paradise Bike Rodeo Rounds Up Great Success
The Salvation Army Service Center in Paradise hosted its first ever Bike Rodeo and Family Fun Event. Every child who attended was given a properly fitted helmet, bicycle lights, a goodie bag and boxed lunch. There were also 37 bicycles given away thanks to the many sponsors and businesses that helped contribute to the event.
The goal of the Bike Rodeo was to encourage kids to get outside and to bring the community together. Activities included face painting, bicycle registration, family fun games, and a bicycle obstacles course.
After the great success of their first event, The Salvation Army Service Center in Paradise hopes to make the Bike Rodeo an annual tradition.
