Sacramento Welcomes Echelon

Jan 26, 2018 | by SNW

Echelon is a community of young professionals that network while volunteering, fundraising, and advocating for The Salvation Army. It was founded in Dallas, Texas in 2010 and has been branded as The National Young Adult Auxiliary. The Salvation Army has more than 15 Echelon chapters in varying stages of development- one of the latest to be recognized is in Sacramento, California.

Sacramento’s chapter Co-President, Freddie Silveria, says “Echelon is an opportunity for members to connect with like-minded people who get out into the community and do good work.” Members from the Sacramento chapter include a doctor, an attorney, and a motivational speaker- just to name a few.

Since the chapter was launched in July 2017, it has already held its first fundraising event and has helped host The Salvation Army National Advisory Board. There is no doubt these movers and shakers will accomplish great things in the Sacramento community!
