Supporting The Truckee Plane Crash Search Crew & Volunteers

Apr 24, 2017 | by SNW

A plane carrying two passengers was reported missing late Monday night after it failed to arrive at the Petaluma Municipal Airport from Truckee. Search crews began looking for the missing passengers Tuesday but was placed on hold due to weather conditions in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

When the search continued Thursday, the Salvation Army was first on hand to provide meals for all the crew and volunteers. Over 900 meals were provided by the Emergency Disaster Services from Thursday to Sunday.
